We use MailChimp to analyse our newsletter campaigns. If you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file (web beacon) included in the e-mail connects with MailChimp servers in the USA. This determines whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links were clicked on, if any. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is exclusively used for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of recipients.
